Buying expired domains for PR, does it still work?

Ive done some tests in the last month or two about expiring domains with PR to see if it's worth your while to get these expired and wiped domains.

My idea why I would like to use expired domains may be the idea that old domains are chosen than new domains, and to get quick PR.

So I attempt to find deleted areas with PR that I can register. One characteristic of domains I was trying to find was that the site still had a, and it was still shown in google.

I won't be mentioning the specific domains here as I need to handle the outcomes and prevent individuals from making backlinks to these domains.

I registered about 4 domains, some have PR2 and PR3. Some have a few pages listed, some have a few thousand. Get more on this affiliated encyclopedia - Visit this web site: linklicious or lindexed. I also bought a few new areas for my new projects.

I learned that google rarely visits these domains so I want to prime it but with some new backlinks. After making some backlinks to these domains, two their PR was eventually lost by domains. These two areas have only a few pages found in google. In one single site, used to do a 301 permanent direct to the brand new index page. That site maintained its PR. One crucial difference this domain has set alongside the other two is that this domain has a large number of pages indexed in google.

In yet another domain, used to do a 301 and redirect it to a fresh domain. To get other ways to look at the situation, you are able to check-out: linklicious plugin. The result is that the new domain got indexed more and quicker pages were indexed compared to another new domain I listed at the same time. However, PR was down seriously to 0.

There is also an instance where I did a 301 direct from a vintage deleted area with PR and never got any benefit from it.

In conclusion, there is still contradictory results on whether getting deleted/expired domains. Some works, some don't. But, what seem to work is that

a. To get a different viewpoint, consider checking out: linklicious vs lindexed. Traffic does be contained by old delete domains from existing backlinks. Some traffic does be still generated by it, if the old area has a lot of backlinks.

T. Other search-engines such as yahoo and msn do not appear to have an biases against expired/deleted domains.. To study more, consider having a gaze at: scrapebox linklicious.
