Perfecting with Firefox

One software application any optimizer must love is Firefox. Now some might say 'Why Firefox, it is only a visitor'? Yes, it is a visitor, but one that supports a big variety of jacks, some of them invaluable for seo. My girlfriend discovered high quality www.facebook.com/tylermcollins by searching webpages. Therefore let's see what these extensions are:

1. SEOpen ( https://addons.mozilla.org/firefox/570/ ): this is one of the greatest and most used Firefox seo extensions, and has many tools that make it a favorite of mine. Therefore let's see what it might do:

* in Google it may examine for: backlinks, found pages, associated pages, cache and PageRank. Clicking https://facebook.com/tylermcollins perhaps provides suggestions you might give to your family friend.

* in Yahoo and MSN: indexed pages and backlinks.

* for traffic facts, Alexa: summary, backlinks and related web sites.

* keyword thickness of the very used words o-n the site. Browse here at the link facebook.com/tylermcollins to check up why to do this view.

If the site is included in the index * DMOZ checker: see.

* look for robots.txt. If you are concerned by law, you will seemingly choose to check up about https://www.facebook.com/tylermcollins/.

* validator to check your site for problems the validator is used by it from www.w3.org).

There are other items, but these are the most important.

2. Search Engine Optimisation Links ( http://www.webmasterbrain.com/seo-tools/firefox-extensions/seo-links/ ) is yet another expansion I personally use daily. Once the extension si effective and you hover over a link a tooltip will appear that will show you Yahoo, MSN, and Google link popularity and position information for the URL and anchor text couple. This can be frustrating when you're simply checking, but you can simply deactivate it having a right-click!

This may be effortlessly used to check on your search engine rankings for a specific page, and here's how: write-up a listing with all the keywords and keyphrases that you would like to rank for, and then link these words or phrases towards the website pages associated with them!

Now everytime you wish to always check your ranks activate the Search Engine Optimisation Links expansion and float within the links -- you'll see where your pages come in Google, Yahoo and MSN.

3. Don't waste anymore of one's precious screen real estate merely to discover what your PageRank and AlexaRank is! SearchStatus ( https://addons.mozilla.org/firefox/321/ ) could sit anywhere you want (I keep it in the status bar) and you'll have the precious data at-a glance. But this little tool can do a lot more than that:

* it shows what metatags a site has

* inspections for backlinks and indexed pages in Google, Yahoo and MSN

* it shows the robots.txt file

* keyword occurrence statement purpose

* and best-of all: the highlight 'nofollow' links will show you what links will be followed closely by search engine spiders -- very useful when you need to publish your website to a directory and don't know if it will matter from a seo perception.

Therefore in case you are not applying Firefox, go get it! It may be your best friend when it comes to search engine optimization!
